As we continue to expand, we’re excited to welcome several talented and passionate Horticulturists to join our team in across multiple Freedom sites.

About The Role

Working alongside the Team Leader , you’ll support with maintaining the grounds of a high-profile retirement village. From planting and pruning to general vegetation control, your work will ensure the gardens remain beautiful and inviting for residents and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, creating, and maintaining gardens to meet client specifications.
• Sourcing plants and materials, following garden plans, and planting according to best practices.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of assigned sites within the contract.
• Communicating regularly with the Operations Manager and/or client, promptly addressing any garden or planting issues.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality in all tasks.

About You

You are an experienced Gardener who takes pride in delivering top-quality results. You’ll bring:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, even better if you come with Horticulture qualifications!
• A full driver’s licence with the ability to drive a manual.
• Strong knowledge of plant species and their maintenance requirements.
• The ability to follow and implement detailed garden plans accurately.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with residents if needed.
• A proactive attitude and dedication to achieving high standards in every task.
