GARDNER & GROUNDS PERSON at HOTEL MINELLA

• Landscape Maintenance: Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns. This includes tasks such as mowing, trimming, and weeding to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the hotel grounds.
• Irrigation and Fertilization: Install and maintain irrigation systems, apply fertilizers and pesticides, and ensure proper watering of plants to promote healthy growth.
• Cleaning and Upkeep: Remove debris, trash, and dead plants from outdoor areas. Clean and maintain outdoor furniture and fixtures, ensuring that all areas are tidy and welcoming.
• Seasonal Tasks: Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal in winter, leaf raking in autumn, and preparing gardens for planting in spring.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate various tools and machinery, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Collaboration: Work with landscape designers or managers to implement landscaping plans and ensure the grounds meet the desired aesthetic and high standards of Hotel Minella

Skills and Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of Plants: Understanding of plant care, including watering, pruning, and pest management.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for maintaining clean and well-groomed outdoor spaces.
• Experience: Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is often preferred, but training may be provided for the right candidate.
• 5 days per week 9am - 5pm daily

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €33,000.00-€37,561.92 per year
