Overview:

A Faber Gas Stove Technician installs, diagnoses, and repairs Faber gas stoves, performing maintenance on components like burners, igniters, and gas lines to ensure safety and efficiency. Key duties include conducting inspections, troubleshooting malfunctions such as ignition problems and inconsistent flames, replacing faulty parts, cleaning components, and maintaining service records. The role also requires excellent customer service, clear communication about repair findings, and adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation:

Install Faber gas stoves and associated gas line connections according to safety standards.

• Inspection:

Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues, including checking for gas leaks, damaged hoses, and worn parts.

• Diagnosis:

Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical problems, such as inconsistent flames, ignition issues, or burner malfunctions.

• Repair:

Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on all components, including burners, igniters, knobs, and gas lines.

• Maintenance:

Perform regular cleaning and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of the stove.

• Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of service requests, maintenance activities, and repair work performed.

• Customer Service:

Communicate effectively with customers to explain service findings, recommend solutions, and provide clear cost estimates.

Required Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of gas stove components and their function.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to systematically diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Customer Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers.
• Safety Compliance: Understanding of and adherence to local safety codes and regulations for gas appliances.
• Physical Dexterity: Ability to perform detailed work and handle tools required for repairs.

Benefits:

• Commission- 20% of total value work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month

• Trivandrum, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Stove installation & servicing: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
