Floor Supervisor – Permanent Salaried Position

The Barn Gastropub is currently seeking an experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our management team on a permanent, salaried basis.

This is a hands-on, senior floor role suited to someone confident in leading a busy service, supporting staff, and stepping seamlessly into a management role when required.

The Role

• Oversee day-to-day floor operations and ensure high standards of service at all times
• Support and lead the front-of-house team during service
• Act as the point of contact when managers are off duty, taking responsibility for smooth running of shifts
• Handle guest queries professionally and proactively
• Maintain excellent standards of presentation, service flow, and team morale

The Ideal Candidate

• Has proven experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
• Is flexible, reliable, and comfortable taking responsibility
• Leads by example and communicates clearly with both staff and management
• Thrives in a busy, high-quality service environment
• Is organised, calm under pressure, and naturally customer-focused
