About the Role:
Our project in the Surat Basin is currently seeking Gathering Supervisors to share their experience and expertise within our CSG infrastructure team.
You will be responsible for the day to day on site supervision of contractor and subcontractor groups to ensure that design, technical, and quality standards are achieved safely, on time and within budget. In addition to this you will coach, resolve issues and serve as the link between subordinates and upper management. Responsibilities include:
- Safety: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Participate in incident investigations, report incidents to management, and ensure timely resolution of safety and environmental issues
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor and management a team fostering a culture of safety, efficiency and continuous improvement
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project, proactively mitigating risks
- Resource Coordination and Planning: manage resources (in accordance with project timelines), including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and inspect ongoing work to ensure it meets MPK and client specific quality standards and project specifications.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, reports, and ensure compliance with MPK and client specific management system procedures
- Client & Team Communication: Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project alignment with client expectations
About you:
- Preferable 5 years’ experience in similar role
- Trade qualification relevant to the field of operation of the position (or relevant experience where trade qualification does not exist)
- Experience with live dig supervision, tie-in welding and crossing
- Ability to implement training and upskilling opportunities for team members
- Construction card
- Industry Safety Induction
- Attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in planning, resource allocation, and managing project timelines and documentation
- Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders, conducting meetings, and reporting
- High commercial awareness
