Irish Pressings is an engineering manufacturing firm located in Gweedore, Co.Donegal and supplies press tooling and metal stamped components - primarily to the automotive industry where its customers include many of the world's most recognisable car brands.

Founded in 2005, the company currently employs over 130 people across its four premises on the Gweedore Business Park and is going through a very strong growth phase which will see operations increase in scale even further over the next 18-months.

General Cleaning Operative

• Full-Time (FT) position available for a General Cleaning Operative to carry out general cleaning duties across our premises on the Gweedore Business Park.
• Daily duties will include responsibility for cleaning of communal areas including canteen, offices, restrooms, etc. and ensuring adequate stock of cleaning materials, etc.
• From time-to-time there may also be specific cleaning tasks and special projects that require your engagement (e.g. deep clean of new facility prior to opening, etc.)
• As the role will involve daily review of the fabric and condition of the building, we would appreciate your feedback on any improvements, deficiencies or need for repairs that are identified.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Cleaner
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Must have proven work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative is important as is the ability to work as part of the maintenance group and overall IP Team
• Candidate will be trustworthy, maintaining confidentiality at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €14.00 per hour
