Summary:

This role is an entry level position, joining the production team at Kitchen Partners. The role requires someone with the desire to learn new skills, and be flexible across various tasks.It is hoped that this person will someday progress to an Operator Level 1 role.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

• Handle raw materials
• Check labels and dates on raw materials, and packaged items
• Assist in the Veg Processing Room
• Handle various vegetables
• Check quality of vegetables, and raw materials
• Top and tailing of onions
• Responsible for own work area, cleanliness and organisation
• Carry out the cleaning and sanitation of the area
• Complete other housekeeping tasks related to production
• Cover the basic tasks in the Boxing room
• Follow HACCP guidelines, GMP’s and company policies and procedures to meet our food safety &quality standards
• Follow our safety standards, using the correct PPE (personal protective equipment) as needed at all times
• Complete other ad-hoc duties across the production areas, within the general laborer skill

Pay: $17.80-$19.00 per hour

• General labor: 3 years (preferred)
