General Labourer

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic General Laborer (3 Positions) to join our team on our work site around Wellington area. Job is based in Wellington Region. However, you will need to travel to multiple locations in wellington depends on project requirements.

Employment type: Full time /Permanent

Hours per week: Minimum of 30 hours per week and maximum 45 hours per week

Hourly rate: $29.70 NZD

Job Description ·

• Loading and unloading construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated locations.
• Perform rough & finish fitting out works in renovation and repairs.
• Assemble and install suspended ceilings, doors, windows, cabinets, walls and associated hardware and fixtures and fittings.
• To ensure work site properly cleaned up after works done.
• Clean, sand, patch, prime and prepare worked surface to be painted, varnished.
• Carry out plastering works on doors, floors, ceilings, walls and furniture.
• Assisting general interior and exterior renovation and other labour related duties. ·
• Cleaning and carrying out minor repairs and checking for cracks or leakage.
• Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffolding.
• Assisting with installing fixtures .
• Assisting site Managers and Supervisors on daily site tasks .
• Managing on-site materials .
• Using power tools and machinery when needed.
• Handling construction and renovation materials.
• Always follow the safety standards and policies.
• Other general laboring roles as required.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You must have either minimum of 6 months experience working in construction and Landscaping industry OR Minimum Level 4 qualification in any field.

Be physically fit.

Have willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.70 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
