Job Posting: General Labour at Mega Rebar

Mega Rebar, an established rebar fabricator and distributor situated in Maple Ridge, BC, is actively seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as a General Labourer. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that offers competitive compensation and benefits. Our facility is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment.

Core Duties:

• Operate and maintain equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.
• Maintain the shop/designated area in a clean and safe manner.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to the job.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Work Conditions:

• Work in a covered environment.
• Highly repetitive tasks.
• Heavy lifting required.
• Overtime hours may be required to meet operational demands.
• Must be flexible to work early mornings and late evenings.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Must have basic math skills to calculate bar measurements.
• Must be able to read a measuring tape.
• Ability to lift and maneuver without physical restrictions.
• Ability and willingness to follow directions, as well as the ability to work independently.
• Good understanding of customer service for both internal and external customers.
• Ability to follow safety standards and requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment (Steel-toe work boots, gloves, helmets, hearing protection, safety glasses, etc.).

Schedule:
