General Maintenance

We are looking for a maintenance person who can carry out general maintenance work around our holiday park in Westward Ho! This will include repair jobs reported by housekeeping in our villas and caravans. During the off-peak season our maintenance team carry out improvements/renovations to the accommodation. The job will also include general grounds work across the holiday park.

The successful candidate will be mainly based at Seafield Holiday Park, but will also be given work with our partner company Braddicks Furnishers’ residential lettings in Bideford. When called to the Furnishers in Bideford, work will include maintenance of rental properties.

The working hours are 8am - 5pm 5 days(40 hours) a week, and the job is all year round. The successful candidate will be required to work Saturdays when needed, this is currently shared on a rota system with other members of the maintenance team. If you work a Saturday, you will get a day off in the week. We also have an 'on-call' rota system in place for the holiday park in case there is a severe emergency on-site out of hours where maintenance is urgently needed. This is also shared on a rota system with the other members of the team, and is only used in urgent cases.

The starting date will be as soon as the successful candidate is available. Wage dependant on experience.

Seafield Holiday Park is located in Westward Ho! We have 43 holiday units and 42 residential units spread over 3 ½ acres. We are a stone's throw away from the sea, and a 5-minute walk to the beach. Seafield was established in 1947 by the Braddick family, and is still run by the family today. We take pride in being a small family-run business, and we strive to make everyone's stay with us as enjoyable as possible.
