General Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service. As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and driving business performance.

Duties

• Oversee all aspects of daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
• Manage and supervise staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to promote team development.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and customer experience.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage ordering processes, and control costs to maximize profitability.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and collaboration among staff members.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolution aligns with company standards.
• Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the onboarding process to build a strong team.

Skills

• Proven experience in team management within the food service or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Experience in bartending or managing beverage service is a plus.
• Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in supervising diverse teams while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

We are looking for someone who has hotel or hospitality experience and has had a stable work history. Each job must have a minimum 2 years of tenure but those that have 3 or more years will have preference.

Your last 3 jobs have to be in management.

Office hours: Mon to Fri 7am-5pm
