General Manager
Sparta Manufacturing is seeking a visionary and results-driven General Manager (GM) to lead the organization toward its ambitious growth goals.

Role Overview
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring the alignment of day-to-day activities with Sparta’s strategic objectives. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive performance while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. The GM will work closely with the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO/Owner, and will be responsible for steering the company through its next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
· Define and implement the company’s strategic direction in collaboration with the management team.
· Lead the development and execution of business strategies to achieve long-term goals.
· Drive organizational growth by identifying new opportunities, markets, and innovations.
2. Operations Management:
· Oversee all operational functions, including production, quality, customer service, and supply chain.
· Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
· Optimize processes and systems to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
3. Team Leadership:
· Provide strong, inspirational leadership to the management team and employees.
· Mentor and develop leaders within the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
· Ensure workforce engagement and alignment with company values and objectives.
4. Financial Oversight:
· Manage the company’s budget and financial performance, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
· Work with the finance team to set and achieve financial targets.
· Oversee cost control measures while investing strategically in growth opportunities.
5. Customer & Stakeholder Relations:
· Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
· Represent Sparta Manufacturing at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
· Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by fostering a client-first approach across all departments.
6. Organizational Growth:
· Lead initiatives to expand market presence, including entering new markets.
· Identify and mitigate risks associated with growth and operational challenges.
· Champion innovation and continuous improvement to stay ahead of industry trends.
7. Reporting & Compliance:
· Provide regular reports to the CEO/Owner on organizational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a General Manager, CEO, or equivalent.
· Strong background in manufacturing, operations, and business development.
· Exceptional strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and teams.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
· Bilingual would be an asset.
