Role Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for leading the hotel with integrity, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The role requires a people-first approach, inspiring and empowering the team while driving business performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • People Leadership & Culture
    • Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, ensuring all team members feel heard, valued, and supported.
    • Lead with empathy and authenticity, actively mentoring and developing future leaders within the hotel.
    • Champion wellbeing initiatives, employee engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Guest Experience & Service Excellence
    • Ensure that every guest interaction reflects our commitment to care, warmth, and excellence.
    • Encourage innovation and proactive problem-solving to enhance guest satisfaction and service standards.
    • Oversee ReviewPro and customer feedback mechanisms to drive meaningful improvements
  • Operational & Financial Performance
    • Drive strategic business growth, ensuring financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
    • Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across all departments.
    • Collaborate with department heads to optimize revenue, costs, and overall business performance.
  • Community & Sustainability Leadership
    • Lead sustainability and ethical business practices in line with the hotel’s values.
    • Strengthen partnerships with local organizations, employment agencies, and community groups.
    • Champion social impact initiatives.
