Description:
Hydraulink Australia is a nationally recognised provider of hydraulic hose and fittings servicing key sectors including construction, transport, agriculture, mining and forestry. As part of our ongoing commitment to growth in the region, we are seeking a highly capable and commercially driven General Manager to strategically lead our Victorian and Tasmanian operations.

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Australian General Manager, this role holds full accountability for the strategic, financial, and operational performance of Hydraulink’s Victorian and Tasmanian businesses.

Our ideal person will be a seasoned executive with a proven track record in building empowered teams and managing contracts and national service agreements. Alongside this you will also be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of our Victorian and Tasmanian businesses, our 24/7 breakdown service team, warehouse logistics (pick/pack), and a network of distributors and franchise partners.

This role is able to be based in either our Keysborough or our Tottenham branches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all Victorian and Tasmanian operations
  • Maintain full P&L accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Ensure effective execution and compliance of industrial service contracts
  • Drive the delivery of strategic growth and operational improvement initiatives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and high performance
