Position Overview:

We seek a motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our grooming services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, who will be responsible for managing the grooming schedule, ensuring smooth communication with both clients and groomers, and driving the overall growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the grooming and pet-sitting departments.
• Pet sitting schedule management and client acquisition management.
• Develop and implement strategies for business growth and profitability.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures for operational excellence.
• Foster a productive and professional work environment for employees.
• Lead recruitment, training, and development of new team members.
• Monitor and evaluate operational and financial performance, implementing improvements as needed.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare and present performance and financial reports to upper management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Address and resolve operational challenges, including profit decline, employee conflicts, or competitive pressures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar senior leadership role.
• Strong background in planning, budgeting, and financial management.
• Solid understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, procurement, and operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (Master’s preferred).
