Salary up to £29,278.73 per annum plus van and fuel card

About the Role

As a General Operative, you will play a key role in delivering damp and mould remediation services to housing properties within the Rotherham area. This position requires excellent organisational skills, technical proficiency, and a customer-focused approach. You will be responsible for conducting remediation works, ensuring timely completion to high standards, and adhering to all safety, quality, and compliance requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

Carrying out multi-skilled duties on void and occupied properties which has been damaged from damp and mould
Responsible for joinery works to include replacing skirting boards, doors, door frames and windows
Carrying out patch plastering and redecoration
Undertaking plumbing works to include fixing leaks and installing new fixtures to include ventilation systems
Replacing doors, windows and any other surfaces which could be damaged by damp and mould
Responsible for wearing the provided PPE, provide high levels of customer care and ensure works are carried out high industry standard.
You will adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures at all times

Key Criteria

Experience in the above accountabilities
Full valid UK driving licence
Be in a core trade in either plumbing or carpentry and be able to carry out multi-skilled duties
Excellent communication and customer service skills to manage sensitive customer situations
