Job Title: General Operative / Machine Operative

Contract: Full-Time: Monday to Friday (8 hour shift)

Hours of Work: 40 hours (Shift: 8 hours between 7 am – 6 pm)

(occasional overtime if necessary, as per business need)

Salary Band: €16 - €18 per hour

Reports To: Yard Supervisor / Operations Manager

Skill Level: Basic / Semi Skilled

Summary of Role

To undertake general production duties, yard work and forklift driving as directed by your supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Health and Safety

· To undertake all work in accordance with the Company’s Health and Safety Statement, Policies and Procedures.

· To report any non-conformances, machine/equipment breakages and health and safety issues to your supervisor.

· To report any accidents/incidents immediately to your supervisor.

Quality

· To report any product issues to your supervisor immediately.

· To produce all product to the required level of quality.

Production Output

· To meet daily production targets as set by your supervisor.

· To ensure minimum Product, Material & Energy waste by following the company’s policies and procedures with regards to producing product and operating machinery and equipment.

Machine/Equipment Operation

· To operate machinery, equipment and vehicles in a safe and respectable manner.

Environmental

· To follow Company guidelines to ensure all environmental standards are met.

General Housekeeping

· To leave your work area clean and tidy at the end of each working day.

· To manage your time-keeping and attendance in accordance with the Company’s policies.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

· Experience with working with formwork .

· Experience with working with Readymix concrete.

· Experience in concrete finishing.

· Ability to manage efficiently and work under own supervision.

· Enthusiastic and responsive approach.

· Full, clean driver’s licence.

· Manual Handling Certificate / Safe Pass.

· Valid Visa to work in the EU.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift safely.

· Comfort with working in tight spaces, high altitudes, or other challenging environments.

Working Conditions:

· Outdoor concrete production environment with exposure to weather, dust, and noise.

· Physical role requiring lifting, standing, and operating equipment for extended periods.

· Ability to work in all weather conditions.
