Job Summary:

Reporting to the Project Manager for Limerick Clare region, this a is a key role to support our Electrician in the field.

To carry out a range of operational duties to ensure the efficient and safe running of the workplace. This includes supporting the Electrician team, maintaining equipment, handling materials, and ensuring the quality of work processes.

Responsibilities:

Driving the Electrician to various jobs and projects.

Supporting the Electrician with key tasks for their role ensuring health and safety at all times.

Meeting key business targets and deadlines

Communicating and working effectively with work crews to deliver job requirements ensuring that the project is delivered in accordance with agreed specifications, standards, health, & safety plans, and method statements.

Identifying work improvement opportunities and solutions, reporting same to Project Manager.

Operating vehicles and machinery in line with Health and Safety requirements.

Conducting regular checks on machinery and equipment, clean tools, and carry out basic maintenance tasks when necessary

Experience:

Previous experience working as a general operative, ideally in an electrical field.

Previous experience of working on public roads and traffic management would be an advantage

Previous experience of driving a C license vehicle

Certifications:

Valid safe pass

C1 License

Manual Handling

SLG Card Holder

Required Skills & Competencies:

Excellent communicator and team player

Ability to plan routes

Excellent attention to detail

Fully competent in rules of the road.
