General Operative - Dun Laoighaire

Sixt Ireland is an Irish owned and operated franchise of Sixt rent a car, one of the longest established car rental companies in the world. Sixt rent a car has been in operation since 1912.

This role is a full time General Operative role assisting with branch operations.

Duties will include, but are not limited to;

• Delivering excellent levels of customer service
• Managing any customer queries and concerns regarding their rental
• Cleaning and preparation of rental vehicles to a premium standard, both inside and outside
• Checking in of returning vehicles and additional products/accessories (e.g. satnavs, wifi to go) and processing required paperwork for incoming customers
• Assessing returning vehicles to account for any new damages and assist customers in processing any associated paperwork or transactions
• Parking, moving and refuelling vehicles
• Handling of paperwork and general administrative duties
• Processing paperwork (scanning, printing, filing etc...)
• Processing charges and logging into system
• General administrative tasks as required by Location Manager
• Any other duties as required by your Line Manager

Role Requirements

• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• The ability to deliver exceptional customer service
• Full B Driving licence, or equivalent
• A team player, who works on their own initiaitive
• Someone with experience using Microsoft Office and Windows-based software programmes
• Flexibility to work shifts rostered between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Sunday.
