Stephens Catering Equipment is a long established catering equipment supplier, servicing the retail, restaurant, hotel, and government sectors. With regional offices in the Republic of Ireland and the UK. We are market leaders based on quality, professionalism and expertise. Due to company restructuring , we are looking for a General Operative/ Driver to join our Maynooth office making deliveries to clients in the Republic of Ireland.

Objectives

· To safely and securely load the vehicle with items for delivery

· To efficiently drive deliveries with due care

· To be aware of health and safety procedures

All stock to be accounted for with minimal discrepancies

Key Tasks

• Responsible for loading the vehicle safely and securely
• Responsible for delivery of orders in a timely manner
• Take due Care when loading and unloading orders- to limit damage
• Adhere to Manual Handling Training
• Adhere to Driving rules and regulations
• Responsible for reporting any mechanical faults with Vehicle and ensure all paperwork is up to date on display
• Ensure all delivery notes are signed and received by customer and returned to office
• Report any accidents following proper procedure
• Assisting on site with off loading & positioning as instructed.
• Assisting service engineers and colleagues on project work and installations
• Unloading delivers into Stephen's warehouse and positioning of equipment in designated areas in warehouse.

Requirements:

· Clean, Full Driving Licence- Category B

· Attention to detail

· Good Time-keeping

· Manual Handling Training

- Flexibility as on occasion deliveries will be out of normal working hours.
