General Production Position Overview:

VPI Corporation is looking for general laborers to set up and operate various equipment and machinery in the production of our flooring products. Individuals are required to inspect and pack quality product in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, grab, and twist.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Attention to detail as it relates to product quality.
• Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks.

Shift Information:

• Full time position
• 2nd shift (2:54 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) – Monday – Friday
• Potential for overtime

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math and reading skills are necessary.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly rates range from $25.32 to $30.00 and are governed by the UAW Contract

Work Environment

• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, protective footwear, and company provided shirts.
• Work will be performed in varying temperatures.

Pay: $25.32 - $30.00 per hour
