General /Production Operative required in our meat processing unit in Castlebar, working as part of a small team producing sausages, and packaged meat products. This is a position that would suit an enthusiastic person who can learn and develop the skills required to become an important member of the team.

Your responsibilities will be to assist in the making of products, packaging, and assist with end of day cleaning

This role involves the lifting of crates of meat and boxes also moving machines and tables etc to facilitate cleaning

A good attention to detail is required, knowledge of the food processing industry would be beneficial. Food safety is of paramount importance with ongoing onsite training in our HACCP procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
