JOB SUMMARY:

GSC Power Division, LLC in North Charleston, SC is hiring a General Shop/Shipping Assistant (full-time). The role involves final processes, polishing, organizing parts, preparing shipments, assisting with engraving, and maintaining shop cleanliness. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, reliable, and able to lift 35+ lbs.

General Shop/Shipping Assistant

· Polish and de-burr manufactured parts

· Sort and organize parts for internal workflows

· Prepare parts for outside services and shipments

· Package parts securely for delivery

· Perform general shipping tasks and documentation

· Engraving/laser marking assistance as needed

· Providing assistance to other departments when requested

· Taking out the trash

· Cleaning: sweeping/mopping/vacuuming

· Shop/manufacturing experience preferred

Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support operational needs.

Educational and Background Requirements:

· High school graduate or equivalent

· Mechanically inclined

· Shipping experience a bonus

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
