Job Summary
Stoney Streets Drilling Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Geotechnical/Environmental Drilling Swamper to join our team. This role involves assisting in various drilling operations, assisting the driller, while ensuring safety and efficiency on various construction and green field sites. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be honest, and have a good work ethic.

Duties

• Assist the driller in the setup and operation of drilling equipment, including carrying auger stem and casing;
• Maintain equipment, including track drill and carrier truck, to ensure optimal performance;
• Conduct site inspections and assist in the preparation of drilling sites, following OSHA regulations;
• Collaborate with team members to execute drilling plans effectively while adhering to project timelines; and,
• Monitor environmental conditions and drill during operation and report any issues to the lead driller.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a drilling environments is preferred, but not required;
• Mechanical knowledge and/or inclination to assist in troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise;
• Good work ethic and ability to repeatedly lift 65 lbs;
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety; and,
• A valid class 5 drivers license is required and a Class 3 license is advantageous, but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per year
