About the team

The Global Account Director is responsible for driving business transformation, long-term value, and growth for Kinaxis' largest global enterprise customers. This role leads the development and execution of global account strategies, leveraging deep expertise in SaaS solutions, end-to-end supply chain management, and strategic consulting. The Global Account Director will influence executive stakeholders, manage complex global relationships, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and collaborate closely with Sales on Next-Sell opportunities. This role also focuses on ensuring renewal readiness and solidifying long-term partnerships with Kinaxis' largest customers.

What you will do

  • Orchestrate and lead Kinaxis’ relationships with key global stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of their organizational structures, strategic goals, and supply chain.
  • Develop and implement a governance model to manage global enterprise accounts, ensuring consistent delivery of high-value solutions.
  • Lead the cross functional Kinaxis team, leveraging the expertise from Product Management, Customer Success, Support, Professional Services, and integration partners to develop a unified strategy that drives customer transformation and meets business objectives.
  • Work in close partnership with the Sales team to create account plans, identify growth opportunities, and drive customer success.
  • Oversee light commercial responsibilities, including tracking and managing licenses, users, and scenarios to enhance account value and drive growth.
  • Lead the design and execution of global strategies for large enterprise accounts.
  • Act as a primary liaison between Kinaxis and the customer’s executive leadership, delivering insight into how Kinaxis solutions can address evolving business challenges.
  • Influence and negotiate for roadmap alignment with customers, ensuring that Kinaxis innovations are prioritized to meet strategic business goals.
  • Identify and elevate Upsell and Next-Sell opportunities, leveraging deep insights into the customer’s business units, subsidiaries, and global supply chain operations.
  • Champion change management initiatives to ensure seamless solution adoption across all levels of the customer organization, enabling full business transformation and value realization.
  • Collaborate with customers to define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) aligned with transformation goals. Provide ongoing strategic recommendations and identify areas for growth.
  • Manage escalations swiftly and effectively, collaborating with internal teams to develop rapid-response strategies that preserve customer trust and satisfaction.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience managing Forbes Top 100 and global accounts, with a proven track record of leading high-impact, strategic client relationships and driving business transformation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing global customer account strategies, with a focus on business transformation, innovation, and identifying growth opportunities within customer portfolios.
  • Strong Expertise in Supply Chain Management, including deep knowledge of processes, systems, and industry best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify Next-Sell, upsell, and cross-sell strategies, while collaborating closely with Sales to ensure seamless handover and alignment on growth opportunities
  • Proven ability to work with SaaS solutions, leveraging technology to drive business outcomes and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Extensive experience utilizing Salesforce (SFDC) and Gainsight to manage customer relationships, track account health and opportunities, and driving proactive engagement.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification considered an asset
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to global client sites, subsidiaries, and industry events as required.
