We are now looking for a Global Blackline System Administrator to join our Record-to-Report (RTR) Development team in Tampere, Finland or Wroclaw, Poland.

What you will do

RTR Development team is part of UPM Financial Control & Group Finance organization. We create value by delivering efficient and high-quality development of Record-to-Report Finance Model (including processes, solutions, data, analytics and skills) aligned with UPM strategy. We, as a team, drive to be operationally efficient, performing on a high level to give our very best to both our internal and external customers and stakeholders. In this position, you will:

  • Be responsible for Blackline User and Access Management (define, create, assign, maintain, remove)
  • Account Reconciliation : Configure and modify reconciliation templates, perform bulk or rules-based automated account and role assignments, execution mass updates
  • Task Management: Define period-end dates and manage business task calendars (locations, holiday calendars), Configure task dependencies, comment settings, and automated alert/email workflows and together with Global Process Owners approve or deny task requests and configure auto-certification settings
  • Transaction matching: Set up and modify data sources, and manage/clone Match Sets, Run matching engines, perform ad-hoc matching, and configure unmatched transaction workflows
  • Journals: Maintain templates, workflows and master data
  • Act as support for users and identify and evaluate development opportunities together with Solution Owner and Global Process Owner

Who you are

  • You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in finance
  • You have experience working with Blackline and SAP and you are truly willing to learn more
  • You have good understanding of relevant Finance and Accounting process(es)
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in finance in multinational environment
  • You have appropriate skills to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
  • You are ready to take responsibility for finding answers and overcoming challenges
  • You feel comfortable to be hands-on system and process development work
  • You have good co-operation, coordination and communications skills
  • You are fluent in English and Finnish, other language skills are a benefit

Additional information about the position

This position is located in Tampere, Finland or in Wroclaw, Poland.

The position holder will report to Senior Manager, RTR Solutions and Template.
