ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Global Content Operations (GCO) Content Tagger to join our team on a 12 week contract with an immediate start (looking at a start date in June). The GCO Content Tagger’s core responsibilities are to tag content with Iconik, the Media Asset Management solution used by GCO and our clients’ shareholders. This content will be provided and typically packaged by GCO staff, including Media Asset Managers and Media Coordinators. Following a training period, Content Taggers will be expected to work independently on their assigned duties, inputting values that make our media searchable to a global user base. Demonstrating proactive approach, Content Taggers will solicit GCO staff to add new metadata values and actively contribute to our organisation’s culture of innovation by proposing enhancements in process and data where they see opportunity for improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to work well under tight deadlines, with the capacity to work across several teams and communicate effectively with various shareholders that may make use of their services. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to thrive in detail oriented and, at times, repetitive tasks, and to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be a part of Gravity Media’s Media Asset Management Team, and you will report to the Media Asset Manager. The position is based at Riot Games’ Remote Broadcast Center in Swords, Dublin.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • ​Input metadata on media assets in order for content to be accurately identifiable.
  • ​Own the responsibility for maintaining a steady stream of assets to tag.
  • Communicate in the proper channels to obtain assistance toward the goal of successful metadata tagging.
  • Escalate bugs or issues with the tool sets or processes used to achieve your responsibilities.
  • Participate in the culture of innovation by bringing new ideas for content tags and improvement of processes.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Asset Management experience or knowledge preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal skills: good judgment and ability to interact with different levels of management and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about troubleshooting issues, exploring and experimenting with new methods.
  • Self-driven; Self-starter with a habit for taking initiative.
  • Experience with Iconik MAM system is a plus.
  • A passion for and understanding of Esports, specifically Riot Games products is welcomed.
