Global Corporate Bank (Mid-Cap) – Junior Banker – Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION


We are excited to announce a newly created junior banker role within our Global Corporate Banking team in Seoul.

As an Analyst within the Global Corporate Bank (Mid-Cap) team, you will assist in managing relationships with Korea-headquartered companies, focusing on clients with global operations and growth aspirations. Our team provides both traditional Corporate Banking products and Investment Banking products to our clients. You will work closely with various lines of business on client coverage efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to corporate bankers and deal teams, with responsibilities including KYC/onboarding, pitch book preparation, transaction execution, credit analysis, briefing memo, and general country-level reporting requirements.
  • Ensure seamless coordination among deal team members, product partners, and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Assist in gaining, managing, and maintaining client relationships with both prospects and existing clients in close coordination with corporate bankers.
  • Develop skill sets and knowledge to transition into a corporate banker role over time, with direct client management responsibilities. This will require the ability to manage client relationships and provide solutions across corporate banking products.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Solid credit, accounting, and financial knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented analytical capabilities.
  • Highly motivated team player.
  • Outstanding ethics, integrity, and judgment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Korean and business-level English.
  • Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Previous work experience, preferably in Corporate Banking or related client-facing roles.
  • Relevant Corporate Banking and/or Investment Banking experience with a strong corporate finance/credit background.
  • Prior participation in a banking analyst training program.
