We’re seeking a skilled and hands-on Global Cyber Security Technical Lead to join our Cyber Security team in North Sydney (or Brisbane) on a permanent basis.

This is your opportunity to build and enhance security capabilities and controls across our global organisation whilst leading a small team who support regional deployments and in EMEA, LATAM and North America.

So, what’s the job?

Reporting to the Group Head of Cyber Security:

• You’ll oversee compliance across global Technology operations, ensuring alignment with ICIF, group policies, and regional regulatory obligations
• Build and continuously improve information security capabilities aligned with Cyber security strategy
• Build and uplift security controls with your team to protect company assets and information
• As Technical SME work with Security Consultant - GRC in developing and implementing action plans to reduce risk, uplift control maturity or align to Security Frameworks such as ISO27001 or NIST
• Own the delivery and contribute to the global security capability
• Support the Security Operations Manager in new integrations, policy configurations and security configuration
• Educate regional business units and SecOps of new security capabilities
• Lead and manage a team ensuring deliverables are met and support individual and team growth and development

And what are we looking for?

You’ll bring the right balance of hands-on technical experience along with proven experience in continuous improvement and uplift plus:

• You’ll have extensive experience in Cyber Security working in various domains of Cyber Security including but not limited to Security Operations or Security Engineering
• You’ll have proven technical hands-on expertise preferably with infrastructure background
• You’ll have demonstrated experience in a similar senior role in delivering cyber security initiatives and controls
• You’ll bring working knowledge of implementing security controls aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC2 and NIST
• You’ll possess a solid understanding and experience in deploying various Security technologies eg: EDR, NDR, SIEM, SOAR, DLP, NAC etc
• You’ll ideally have experience with CrowdStrike, Vectra, Netskope and ZTNA solutions
• You’ll have a strong understanding and experience of security capabilities in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
• You’ll bring relevant industry certifications e.g. Security+, CISA, CISM
• You’ll have exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
