The opportunity
As the Global Head of Global Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the global Accounting function which includes the Accounting roles at group level as well as three regional Accounting teams. You will have direct responsibility for the regional and HQ Accounting team located in Copenhagen while managing and supporting the regional Accounting teams in Singapore and Orlando through functional leadership and ownership of the accounting processes globally.
As the Global Head of Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting operations across the TP Aerospace Group. This includes day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping, monthly closing, preparation of IFRS compliant quarterly and annual financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, vendor invoice processing and payments, our global insurance set-up, and treasury activities.
You will play a key role in driving process excellence in Accounting through digitalization, process optimization and documentation and standardization to ensure efficient and scalable operations that support the broader business. A strong focus will be on advancing on our automation and digitalization journey, while providing visible and proactive leadership both for the team in Copenhagen as well as in the regions and across the wider organization.
The primary tasks:
People leadership
- Lead and inspire the global Accounting team (currently 12 team members across multiple locations), ensuring effective collaboration and performance across all levels.
- Foster a high-performing, unified accounting function by promoting continuous communication, knowledge sharing, and teamwork within the Accounting team, cross functionally and across sites in TP Aerospace Group.
- Champion a business-oriented mindset within the Accounting team, helping team members understand how their work supports the broader business goals and enhances value creation across the organization.
Accounting leadership & compliance
- Take full ownership of the Accounting function and ensure financial integrity and compliance across the TP Aerospace Group, including day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping, monthly closing, preparation of IFRS compliant quarterly and annual financial reporting, statutory and tax compliance, and deliverables for the Audit Committee’s annual cycle.
- Oversee credit control management and vendor invoice processing and payments.
- Maintain and improve short-term cash flow forecasting.
- Manage our global insurance set-up as well as treasury operations and banking relationships.
Process optimization & digitalization
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements, automation, and digitalization opportunities to enhance efficiency and support business functions.
- Ensure clearly defined structures, roles and responsibilities for the Accounting organization and conduct visible leadership within the Accounting organization as well as towards other internal stakeholders outside Accounting, to foster alignment with the broader TP Aerospace business.
System ownership & innovation
- Serve as the functional owner of key financial reporting systems, including ERP (accounting modules), consolidation system, expense management, vendor invoice workflow and a robotic process automation set-up utilized for various parts of the accounting and monthly closing processes.
- Drive system improvements and ensure optimal use of digital solutions to support scalable and future-ready finance operations.
We seek a team member that can identify with the description below:
- A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics, e.g., cand.merc., cand.oecon., MBA or equivalent.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in a role with similar responsibilities.
- Deep expertise in accounting principles and finance operations.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams—both locally and across geographies.
- A track record of driving business improvements, solving complex problems, and maintaining a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Expertise in finance digitalization and transformation initiatives.
- Tech savvy with advanced proficiency in ERP systems and consolidation tools, as well as advanced skills in Excel and Power BI. Familiarity with Power Query, Power Automate, and other robotic process automation tools is an advantage.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders such as auditors, tax advisors, insurance advisors, banks, local authorities and investors/owners.

A few practicalities about the job:
- The position is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. We are open to applicants from other EU countries.
- You should expect between 15-20 travel days per year to support and connect with global teams.
