Job Description
This role will play a key leadership role in both the ARI executive team and the daa Group HR team and will support the delivery of business strategy through the deployment of best practice people solutions, managing a complex HR agenda across a diverse range of disciplines and geographies.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the ARI Executive team, daa Group HR team and ARI’s Global HR team to lead on people matters across the entire ARI estate, directing the development and implementation of global people solutions and strategies to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Develop and implement the overall HR strategy to support the ARI business, ensuring that all people processes are fit for purpose, continuously improving and contributing to the business objectives.
- Work with key business leaders to help them plan, execute and manage global people matters, including global mobility, new business start-ups & implementation.
- Engage with business leaders to grow ARI’s diverse global workforce, working with key stakeholders to attract and retain the best talent.
- Lead ARI’s focus on talent, culture and capability.
- Manage employee engagement across ARI’s businesses and champion company values and leadership standards through employee experience and communication.
- Engage with the business to identify, agree and plan capability and capacity requirements to meet the business needs in line with budget and headcount plans.
- Work collaboratively with daa Group Reward on the development and implementation of global mobility policy, procedures and processes, ensuring that HR practices are kept up to date and in line with Group Reward and local legal practices.
- Drive the talent agenda and ensure best in class talent management and training and development opportunities for global colleagues.
- Lead and manage a team of HR professionals directly based in Dublin and provide leadership, direction and support to the wider ARI global HR team.
- Act as a key contributor to daa Group HR, and support the development and delivery of key Group HR programmes and initiatives.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Extensive HR experience at a senior leadership level, preferably in a retail or international environment
- Resilient, with the ability to work at pace and deliver under pressure
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic, complex and challenging environments
- Strong people leadership, influencing skills and decision-making abilities
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Highly motivated team player with a positive approach
- Committed to company values and leadership standards
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master's in HR/Organisational Development is preferred.
