Location: Espoo, Finland (In-Office)
Duration: Approximately 1 Year (Temporary Contract)
Are you a sharp analytical thinker with a knack for connecting data points and a flair for project execution? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data-Driven Investigator to join our global License Compliance team in Espoo, Finland, on a temporary contract to cover a maternity leave. This is a high-impact position that requires an experienced professional to effectively protect our IP and convert infringement into realized sales revenue globally.
As a key member of our global team, your primary mission will be to leverage data and strategic thinking to support and drive our license compliance initiatives globally. Given the temporary nature of the role, we offer a versatile set of responsibilities that will be tailored to the successful candidate's strengths and experience.
What You'll Be Doing (Depending on Your Background):
  • Infringement Analysis: Diving deep into infringement data to build robust and defensible license compliance cases across international jurisdictions.
  • Partner Management: Managing relationships with external third-party partners, critically evaluating and approving the compliance cases they present.
  • Project Leadership: Taking the lead on new initiatives, from concept to launch, potentially involving project management for software development or process optimization within the compliance framework.
  • Legal & IP Support: Utilizing any prior legal background (especially in Intellectual Property/IP Law) to advise on case strategy and risk assessment.
  • Operational Excellence: Handling critical administrative and organizational tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the global compliance program.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Requirements:
  • Strong Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and construct logical, evidence-based conclusions.
  • Language Proficiency: Mandatory strong written and spoken English as you will be working as part of a globally distributed team.
  • Location & Availability: Must be able to work in-office at our Espoo location for the duration of the contract.
  • Relevant Experience: Substantial professional experience demonstrating project management skills, analytical work, or legal/compliance background.
Highly Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Project Management: Experience in leading and driving complex projects, particularly those related to software/tool development or process improvement.
  • Legal Background: Education or professional experience in Law, especially Intellectual Property (IP) Law or commercial law.
  • Global/International Experience: Familiarity with the complexities of working within a global business context.
