This position reports to
Global marketing and communications manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for implementing channel partner marketing and communication activities in Drive Products (MODP) division globally, in alignment with the division and channel partner marketing and communication strategy and ABB brand positioning. You have a genuine interest in working towards and together with third-party companies that collaborate through ABB’s global channel partner network. You are to implement effective channel partner marketing activities and related initiatives based on channel partner centricity to enable awareness, demand and loyalty for our offerings and value propositions which enable short- and long-term business growth. This role is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, Fin-land. You will be mainly accountable for: • Produce channel partner solution related marketing and communication in ABB internal and external communication channels, according to the division’s channel partner marketing communication strategy. • Apply ABB channel partner branding and messaging guidelines in marketing and communication that is targeted towards, in collaboration with and on behalf of channel partners. • Plan, set-up, and operate successfully events. Create, publish and maintain marketing and communication in newsletters, portals, websites, social media and internal communication channels to secure consistent and value adding information flow. • Support targeted Drive Products online marketing and communication activities and campaigns towards and in collaboration with channel partners. • Work in collaboration with various global and local functions, including ABB marketing and communication and channel management teams, as well as vendors and other stakeholders.
Qualifications for the role
- Recently graduated or early career experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, English as a spoken and written language.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs and applications. Experience of photo and design software’s such as Adobe Photoshop. Experience of video editing software is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Well organized in coordinating projects and contributing proactively to a positive team performance.
- Interest to learn various marketing and communications disciplines and work streams including familiarity with digital environment and digital knowhow.
- Experience with channel partners / technical distribution channels is an advantage.
