Job Title: Global Talent Acquisition Partner (12 Month contract)

Job Objective

Global Talent Acquisition Partner will play a key role in primarily supporting Thales’ recruitment strategy for the UK and Middle East regions. This role, based in Bangalore, is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a consistent, high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience aligned with Thales’ global standards.

As a trusted partner to business leaders, you will drive the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing and assessment to offer and onboarding — ensuring timely and effective hiring delivery. The ideal candidate will bring strong stakeholder management, regional hiring exposure, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to define role requirements, selection criteria, and decision-making, ensuring high-quality hires.
  • Prioritize candidate experience and act as a Thales brand ambassador.
  • Support and advise Hiring Managers throughout interviews, coaching and promoting best recruitment practices.
  • Build and manage external talent pools and source candidates for current and future needs.
  • Stay updated on and leverage effective advertising and sourcing channels.
  • Represent Thales at external events to maintain strong networks and market insight.
  • Promote and embed Diversity & Inclusion initiatives within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with Thales policies and maintain accurate records in key systems.
  • Align recruitment with broader business objectives, including diversity and employer branding.
  • Embrace and contribute to agile team practices.
  • Utilize global Talent Acquisition resources and collaborate with the TA Project Support and Global Support Teams.
  • Drive timely hire while ensuring every hiring process reflects Thales’ strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Work closely with the wider HR function as needed.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role in a large, complex organization, recruiting across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong team player with a track record of delivering business outcomes.
  • Skilled in full-cycle recruitment, including diverse sourcing, assessment, and evaluation methods.
  • Demonstrates resilience, tenacity, and accountability in resolving issues and completing tasks.
  • Experienced in assessing candidate skills, cultural fit, and motivation.
  • Proficient with multiple HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective candidate management.
  • Familiar with agile principles and supportive of agile working practices.
  • Adept at sourcing both passive and active candidates through a variety of channels for immediate and future needs.
  • Experience: Minimum 6–8 years
  • Language proficiency in English.

Desirable

  • Experience in the Engineering and Technology skills market
  • Experience of influencing within a globally matrixed environment

QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or similar

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Able to assess how business strategy changes affect talent needs, and help identify skills gaps and relevant talent pools.
  • Builds strong relationships with Hiring Managers and candidates; skilled in stakeholder management, challenging misconceptions and bias to positively influence outcomes.
  • Leverages credibility and knowledge of strategic business priorities at country and group level to build partnerships.
  • Interprets and analyzes data, identifies talent acquisition trends, and reports through Workday and other systems.
  • Understands Thales’ structure, operations, and key business drivers.
