Why this role matters:

As a Supply Planning Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring materials flow seamlessly across multiple global sites to meet production schedules and customer needs. You will be developing supply plans, balancing supply and demand, optimizing inventory levels, coordinating across global procurement, production, and logistics teams, and ensuring timely execution of supply plans in a fast-paced new space manufacturing environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts, production plan, and material availability.

  • Define planning parameters and ensure the data accuracy for MRP

  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and subassemblies to ensure optimal stock levels while avoiding shortages or excess.

  • Review MRP results and create purchase requests based on lead times and inventory levels.

  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials from suppliers.

  • Work closely with demand/production planners to ensure smooth manufacturing schedules and resolve any supply constraints.

  • Manage supply exceptions and communicate risks proactively to stakeholders.

  • Drive the implementation, optimization, and effective use of MRP functionality within ERP and improve system functionality in close collaboration with IT

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or materials management, preferably in electronics or high-tech manufacturing.

  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Netsuite, SAP, or similar)

  • Excellent Excel and data analysis skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with BI tools for data visualization and reporting

  • Familiarity with MES and PLM systems

  • Basic Python knowledge for automation, data analysis, or reporting tasks
