Job Overview
Established in 1908, the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club Limited is a private 27-hole golf club. We are seeking two dedicated individuals to help execute a major bunker renovation project. This role involves assisting with various construction tasks, operating equipment, sodding, and supporting the overall project execution to ensure the successful completion of the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. The schedule for this position will be Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm. Hours may vary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, grading, and sodding
• Operate heavy duty golf carts, tampers, rollers and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures during construction activities

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping or golf course construction is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Ability to operate heavy duty golf carts safely and effectively
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is an asset but not mandatory
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
• Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
