About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Goods In Manager to join our fast-paced fulfilment operation. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the inbound process — managing deliveries, ensuring stock accuracy, and leading a high-performing team to meet customer and business expectations.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing all incoming goods, maintaining excellent stock control, and ensuring that products are processed and available for fulfilment on time. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to thrive in a busy logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Operations
- Manage the end-to-end Goods In process — from booking deliveries to stock putaway.
- Ensure all inbound shipments are checked, verified, and processed accurately within agreed SLAs.
- Liaise with clients, couriers, and internal teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all stock is correctly received, recorded, and stored using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Prioritise urgent or time-sensitive deliveries to maintain fulfilment flow and client satisfaction.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, train, and motivate the Goods In team to achieve productivity and accuracy targets.
- Plan daily workloads, allocate resources, and monitor team performance.
- Promote a positive, safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all site health and safety policies.
- Support team development through coaching, regular feedback, and structured training.
Stock & Reporting
- Maintain high levels of stock accuracy and integrity within the WMS.
- Report and investigate discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
- Produce daily and weekly reports on inbound volumes, performance, and key metrics.
- Maintaining weekly/monthly Work Order report.
- Work closely with other departments to improve accuracy, speed, and overall warehouse efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
- Review existing Goods In procedures and identify opportunities to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a Goods In / Inbound / Warehouse Management role.
- Experience within a fulfilment, e-commerce, or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, Microsoft office and WMS systems.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Opportunities for progression and professional development
- Supportive and collaborative working environment
- On-site parking and staff facilities
- Be part of a growing and dynamic logistics company
