Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Google SEO Specialist to lead and execute our organic search strategy across Google platforms for our websites. This role is ideal for a candidate who has a deep understanding of SEO best practices and hands-on experience improving website visibility, rankings, and organic traffic. The successful candidate will work closely with internal team to develop and execute search strategies that align with business objectives. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at once while meeting tight deadlines. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys digging into data, staying ahead of SEO trends, and collaborating across content, design, and development to create real results. Responsibilities:

  • Execute SEO-related tasks and projects in alignment with timelines and priorities.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for new initiatives and defining project scopes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on website and campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
  • Optimize on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content to improve search performance.
  • Implement on-page SEO strategies to enhance relevance and visibility in search engine results.
  • Stay current with evolving SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies aligned with business goals to drive conversions and revenue growth.
  • Carry out off-page optimization efforts, including link-building and authority-building initiatives.
  • Perform keyword research to identify and target high-value search terms.
  • Provide clear recommendations related to site architecture and technical improvements.
  • Participate in strategic discussions to support marketing initiatives and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team to ensure SEO is integrated across all website elements.
  • Advise business owners on actionable SEO improvements and best practices.
  • Optimize Google Business Profiles, including posts, images, and service descriptions, to improve local visibility and engagement.
  • Assist with additional marketing and SEO-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within a B2B environment.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze website performance and measure the impact of SEO initiatives.
  • Strong experience managing and editing content in WordPress.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a good sense of creative content and visual design.
  • Experience creating professional reports, documentation, and presentations.
  • Background in building and maintaining business development relationships (e.g., partnerships, co-marketing, co-selling).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable providing honest, constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Photoshop and Canva is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of current SEO tools, PPC platforms, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Experience planning and managing content calendars across websites, blogs, and Google Business Profiles.
  • A collaborative team player who supports shared goals and team success.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
