Your New Role:

• Provide exemplary social work service and leadership across but not limited to the General Medicine Service.
• Provide compassionate and sensitive care to consumers, including assessment, counselling, and support.
• Demonstrate your excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff and relevant services, in order to provide appropriate services and information.
• Actively participate in Allied Health quality improvement initiatives and research.

About You:

• You have demonstrated acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style.
• You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.
• You are a qualified Social Worker, eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers with at least 7 years’ experience.
• You value working with supportive and dedicated health professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
