This Role:
We are looking for motivated and analytical Functional Consultants to join our Professional Services team specialising in JD Edwards and Oracle Fusion Applications.
This is an excellent opportunity for upcoming graduates or early-career professionals in business, finance, supply chain, or related disciplines who are interested in how technology supports business operations.
Through structured training and project exposure, you’ll develop both business process expertise and functional system knowledge, preparing you for a consulting career at the intersection of business and technology.
The projected start date for this role is September 2026 and will be a full-time role initially based in our Shared Service Centre in Limerick but will have flexibility to move to a hybrid working pattern once you are established in the role.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Reporting to the Professional Services Functional Manager, the graduate consultant will work closely with experienced consultants to develop their skills across a range of areas:
· Business Process Understanding and Analysis: Learn how core business functions (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain) operate within enterprise systems. Learn to analyse client operations, map business processes, and help identify opportunities for improvement using Oracle and JD Edwards solutions.
· Requirements Gathering: Support senior consultants in collecting and documenting business requirements that align with client goals and system capabilities.
· System Configuration: Gain hands-on experience in configuring and testing JD Edwards and Oracle Fusion modules.
· Process Documentation: Create and maintain business process maps, functional documentation, and user guides.
· Implementation Support: Participate in project phases including testing, data migration, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
· Training & Change Support: Help develop and deliver training materials to support user adoption.
· Continuous Learning: Stay current with Oracle technologies and industry best practices in ERP and business consulting practices.
Qualifications & Previous Experience:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
· Experience: 0–2 years of experience in IT consulting, ERP systems, or business process roles (internships or academic projects also considered).
· Soft Skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-facing skills.
Strong work Ethic, Proactive learner with an active interest in technology-enabled business transformation.
· Business acumen: Candidates should have a good understanding and curiosity of core business processes (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain), and the ability to connect operational needs to system functionality.
· Analytical & Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups), PowerPoint and Word for documentation. Understanding of databases or data flow (conceptual) is advantageous, as is exposure to tools such as Power BI, SQL, or data visualization.
· A strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote working environment, demonstrating initiative, clear communication, and accountability.
