Based in Navan Ireland, Timoney has been in business for over 50 years and has exported to over 40 countries worldwide.

Due to continued expansion, including some exciting projects on Electric & Hybrid technology, Timoney are now looking to hire a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

The Role

This is a hands on role and the successful candidate will be expected to assist in the assembly of prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and executing tasks within designated areas, while overseeing team performance.
  • Actively engaging in cross-functional teams and value stream initiatives to align with company objectives.
  • Collaborating with various internal teams to ensure timely delivery of information and resolution of queries.
  • Conducting day-to-day engineering functions such as process characterisation, validations, and problem-solving.
  • Upgrading existing and developing new equipment and processes, including tooling and fixtures.
  • Validating and optimising manufacturing processes and managing vendors for equipment procurement.
  • Generating and maintaining quality documentation in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Reviewing incoming and outgoing QA documentation to ensure components comply to company standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to Quality and EHS policies and procedures.

Qualifications/Professional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Third-level relevant Engineering Degree.
  • Hand on assembly experience
  • Experience with ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Genuine interest in Engineering.
  • Strong technical aptitude, ability to apply structured problem-solving techniques, and Lean Principles.
  • Proficient in the use of technical drawing software (SolidWorks).
  • 0-2 years’ experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
