Role overview:
Working in the Business Development team, the Graphic and Document Design Specialist will create high-quality print and digital materials, focus on document design for legal advice and presentations, develop templates with legal teams and secretaries, maintain a library of design materials, and train staff on basic design and presentation documents within brand guidelines.
Main tasks within the role:
- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer to create and design high-quality materials for a wide range of print and digital collateral, focusing on document design related to legal advice and presentations.
- Work directly with legal teams and secretaries (with Graphic Designer support) to refine templates (internal/external documents) within design and brand guidelines.
- Maintain a library of precedent design material for future reference.
- Train lawyers and secretarial teams in design and presentation documents, enabling them to produce less complex document designs within firm brand guidelines.
- Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and other relevant tools.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading, oral, and listening communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications completed or underway (e.g., diploma, degree) in relevant fields such as Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Computing, or related subjects.
- Previous experience as a Graphic Designer.
