Graphic Designer

Junior Creative Graphic Designer needed for a full service design and marketing agency based in Stockton Heath, Warrington

We are looking for a highly talented and creative person with a drive to push the boundaries of design and creativity to new levels.

We have a varied portfolio of clients and this role will mostly be working in the health, leisure and hospitality sector. The candidate must be highly creative and able to work under pressure and must be able to work from initial concept design and carry this through to the finished polished article, ready for print and/or online.

You should already have experience working directly with clients, therefore know how to fully understand a client’s brief and how to turn it into something awesome, with a first-rate attention to detail.

You will have a thorough understanding of the Adobe creative suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop and some experience in web design would also be a benefit.

You will understand the requirements of print and be able to work to tight deadlines and turn around projects efficiantly.

The candidate must possess;

Friendly fun loving nature

Up to 2 years proven experience in graphic designing and creative output

A strong portfolio of creative, design and illustrations

Degree in Graphic Design

English qualification (must be excellent at grammar and spelling)

First-rate attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics

Excellent communication skills

Ability to study design briefs and determine requirements

Understanding of the requirements of print

Candidates must be prepared to commute to work

Responsibilities include:

Conceptualising creative concepts and mood board creation

Develop illustrations, logos and other designs

Creating images and layouts

Headline and word creation

Responding positively to feedback and amend designs accordingly

Working to meet deadlines

Liaising with clients regarding their needs

Diagram provides services such as branding, creative design, illustration, digital marketing, web, advertising and print.

Our offices are based in Stockton Heath, one of Cheshire's most vibrant villages. The role is full time, 9am - 5.30pm 5 days a week with an hour for lunch.
