Mo tenei turanga - about the role

As part of a small team, the Graphic Designer will collaborate across all of Fire and Emergency to create a diverse range of visual design materials, including corporate publications, marketing and print collateral, as well as supporting visual design requirements across the organisation. You will be actively involved in enhancing the brand. You will build strong relationships to provide advice and support to internal stakeholders.

Bring your proven design experience to this varied position. You will bring creativity, strong organisational skills and flexibility, along with excellent relationship building. You will have the ability to collaborate and connect across the Directorate and wider organisation to develop solutions. You enjoy working in a fast-paced team and managing your work to meet deadlines.

To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:

• Solid experience in a graphic design role
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a range of design software
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate to a wide range of people
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Confident dealing with a range of people and ability to use influence to achieve outcomes
