Your Job:
As our new Grocery Channel & Activation Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing strategies that drive market growth and activation for Purina in the Danish grocery market. You will be part of our Nordic Market Development Organization (MDO) team for Purina and report to our Nordic Grocery Channel Manager. Lead business planning and execution: Develop and implement strategies for market development and activation, ensuring excellence in execution and driving sustainable, profitable growth.- Manage assortment, distribution, and pricing: Own local assortment strategy, set distribution targets, and contribute to pricing decisions.
- Monitor performance and budgets: Track Purina and competitor performance through regular reviews and oversee marketing budgets, including cost control and monthly phasing.
- Build strong relationships: Collaborate with internal teams (MDO, Marketing, Sales, Finance) and external partners such as key customers and agencies.
- Turn insights into action: Demonstrate initiative by converting data and insights into impactful strategies.
- Communicate effectively: Deliver clear, compelling presentations, and communicate strategies confidently.

We Are Looking For:
To thrive and be successful in this role, you…
- Have at least 4 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Development, Category Management, or a similar field.
- Communicate fluently in Danish and English.
- Possess strong analytical and strategic thinking, with a proven ability to turn insights into action.
- Hold solid knowledge of category management principles, shopper marketing trends, and best practices.
- Have a strong understanding of the local market, including channels and customers, and demonstrate highly developed business acumen.
- Are familiar with local regulations related to shopper activation.
- Have experience working with Nielsen data; knowledge of tools such as Power BI is a plus.
