Grounds Maintenance Labourer

We are looking for an energetic, positive, hard working individual to help out on our Lawn Mowing Crew. Most of the work will comprise of using both riding and self-propelled mowers, trimmers (to trim the grass along the perimeters of the lawns and along walkways/sidewalks) as well as a backpack blower to clear off driveways, sidewalks and entryways of grass debris created from the mowing.

Workers are also responsible for equipment maintenance, servicing the equipment, and will have opportunities to learn how to prune (shrubs and trees) and help out with other jobs that arise throughout the summer (landscaping).

Qualifications:

-must have a valid drivers license.

-willing to work longer days and in adverse weather conditions

-willing to work as a team with other employees

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Experience:

• Lawn Mowing/Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
• Landscaping: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Drivers License (required)
