What you’ll do:

• Landscaping & Horticulture throughout site, all perimeters and Barn and Farmhouse complex.
• Use of grounds equipment to include but not limited to … Tractor, Lawn Mowers, Strimmer, Blower, power wash units, hedge cutters, long reach hedge cutters, long reach pole cutters
• Organisation of waste collections in waste yard.
• Collection of waste throughout site including cardboard, general waste and Hazardous Waste streams
• General Cleaning throughout site including jet washing.
• Cleaning road pavements and road edges throughout site.
• Periodic checks of equipment including FLT battery top ups, using designated reporting sheet
• Fire Hydrant Checks
• Use of FLT in duties performed.
• Use of JCB in duties performed.
• Delivery of product around site including bottled water deliveries.
• General handyman duties such as putting up signs, repairs and painting of fencing.
• Office Moves.
• Office, washroom and changing room cleaning.
• Room set ups.
• Movement of furniture.
• Snow Removal and Gritting services.
• Weed Killing throughout site.
• Car Valeting and preparation
• Working with Helpdesk Requests and systems

What you bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of gardening solutions and their uses would be beneficial

• Customer service and communication skills

• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to shifting priorities when needed

• Be a team player and take instruction

• Capable of basic IT tasks (eg, using an electronic tablet)

• Able to use own initiative

Grounds Maintenance Operative

• Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm (some flexible working on occasion)
• 40 hours per week
• £15.00 per hour + Sodexo benefits
