Description:
Cater Care Services are seeking hospitality professionals for Grounds Person roles at our mining village near Miles (Miles, Dalby, Chinchilla, Toowoomba, Warwick ). Applications outside of these locations will not be considered. Duties may include the below;

Upkeep of the village grounds including - mowing, edging and gardening
Repair and basic trades work across the village
Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning

Position may require assisting other departments as required including:

Mine Site Cleaning- cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses
Housekeeping - cleaning guest rooms and ensuites, making beds as required
Dining Room Duties - maintaining cleanliness, replenishing stock, and ensuring crib food levels are sufficient

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Applicant Will Have:

Previous grounds and maintenance experience in a hospitality environment 12months+
Similar experience within a remote environment is highly regarded
Ability to work well with other team members
A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
Ability to understand and comply with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
MUST hold a drivers’ license
