Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Groundskeeper/Maintenance professional to maintain 3 high rise properties , the beauty, safety, and functionality of indoor and outdoor spaces. In this vital role, you will be responsible for landscape upkeep, garbage, compactors and recylcing schedule and general maintenance tasks that ensure the grounds are inviting, well-kept, and safe for all tenants ,visitors and staff. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create an environment that is both aesthetically pleasing and operationally sound.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance including trimming, pruning, weeding so all outdoor areas are vibrant and healthy
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as debris removal in garages and common areas
• garbage and recycling to be brought out for weekly scheduled pick ups
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas requiring repair or upkeep
• Cleaning up pet waste on property and restocking pet stations
• Changing outside and inside garbages daily.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks when required
• winter maintenance -snow fence installation , shoveling of walk ways and entrances , putting salt down in areas of high traffic for the safety of all tenants, visitors and staff.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of landscaping.
• Experience with lawn care equipment, snowblower , lawn mower and power tools for efficient grounds maintenance.
• must be able to lift 50lbs if required
• Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners,
• Excellent attention to detail in landscape upkeep and safety inspections
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
