Groundskeeper/Maintenance

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, lawn care, and the use of various hand and power tools. A passion for gardening and outdoor work is essential for success in this position.

Duties

• Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to maintain gardens and landscaped areas.
• Irrigate plants, lawns, and gardens as necessary to ensure healthy growth.
• Assist in planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while adhering to best practices for garden care.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing debris and litter from outdoor areas.
• Monitor plant health and report any issues such as pests or diseases to management.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall appearance of the property through seasonal landscaping projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with various power tools and hand tools used in landscaping tasks.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques, including fertilization and pest control methods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical labor.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in work performed.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A valid driver's license may be required for operating groundskeeping equipment or vehicles on-site.
